Rod was "Rod"
"Rod's vocals were kind of low in the mix, and that was kind of bad, seeing how Rod is why people came to the show. I managed to score 4th row floor tickets on the stage left side. A bit of filler - a 70's style drum solo - Rod changes outfits. The upper level was cordoned off - the lower level was full. Rod changed wardrobe 4 times - 3 different "suits", and then a straw cowboy hat, cotton button down shirt, and those shiny, silvery jeans. If I had paid full price, and he had done the same setlist, I would have been VERY unhappy, as my favorite Rod Stewart songs run a bit more obscure. The setlist should please the most generic of Rod's fans - I felt it was okay. His daughter sings 2 songs - outfit change. The trio of female backing vocalists were great. The female backing vocalists sing "Proud Mary" (Tina Turner style) - outfit change. I paid 33 bucks including service fees, and feel like I got my money's worth. Never did anyone look SO happy performing. A special mention for band member, multi-instrumentalist, and ever smiling J'ANNA JACOBY - she is talented and quite easy on the eyes."
